This started out as a tweet, but turns out the amount of hatred I reserve for this woman can't be described in 140 characters. I hate her so much because I loved Jayalalitha.
I loved the way she conducted herself, her grace, her intellect, her mighty will.
Jayalalitha was a self-made person.
We know she was an excellent student, when she gave that up as a teenager to turn to acting to support her family. We know how she was repeatedly insulted in politics, when MGR was around, and after his death.
But she always fought. She fought for everything she received, fought hard and long. She received nothing on a platter served up.
She was long in politics before power was transitioned after MGR's death and MGR gave her the opportunities she had not because she was his muse, but because she was talented. She earned every bit to be party leader and then leader of TN's people.
Deepa, you on the other hand, are anything but this.
Just because you dress like Jayalalitha and pretend to act like her, you don't become her heir.
Your actions are proof about why Jayalalitha kept you and your family away. She did not want to do anything with a bunch of greedy opportunists within her own family, she had enough of those in her political life. So please, please I beg you, don't insult Jayalalitha by pretending to be like her.
It is also a really bad political strategy, see mu.ka.muthu !
P.S. I tried to prevent myself from saying this, but since you are the one who has brought your looks into the equation, I think you have made it fair game. You think you look like Jayalalitha ? Really ?
That is what she looked like around your age..
Now go look in the mirror !
